Property Management
I provide property management for estates, working alongside estate managers or directly with the owners. With 20 years of estate management experience, I help run the day to day operation of the property, the vendors and staff who work on it, and the systems that keep it running.
Services Include
- Regular interior and exterior property walks
- Vendor and contractor coordination
- Estate staff hiring, training and placement
- Coordination with estate managers, security, architects, engineers, designers and event planners
- Family support, including travel logistics and private events
I oversee the property proactively, checking in and making sure everything is going well. This is provided as a monthly service retainer, which sets aside a number of hours each month to check on and work on the property. Vendors and contractors bill you directly.
Vendors and Staff
I bring in trusted vendors, contractors and skilled garden professionals from long established relationships, and I negotiate contracts and review budgets to keep estate operations cost effective. I can also hire and train estate staff, including gardeners, cleaners and estate managers.
Property Walks
I walk the property regularly, inside and out, to identify issues early and prevent problems. Recommended maintenance and repairs are presented to you for approval before any work begins.
Infrastructure
I oversee the systems that keep a property running, including water systems with tanks, pumps, and well permitting and drilling logistics, along with generators, pools, fountains, wine cellars, elevators and gates. Regular checks catch small problems before they become expensive ones.
